    3. A short sharp and snappy collection of stories that does exactly what it says on the cover From some of the greatest names in Crime writing comes a delightful mixture of stories, all of which left me either grinning at the cunning or stunned by the simple but effective twist which flipped the story in a full one eighty Absolutely brilliant. It s only a short story collection, each one lasting about ten or so pages, so there really isn t a lot I can say without giving away each plot line I did enj [...]

    4. A Quick Reads 2017 collection of eight short killer reads from bestselling crime authors All too brief to get into any depth, but they were entertaining and passed a couple of hours.

    5. quite like these quick reads, each story is nicely wrapped up in a few pages Definitely a read in your lunch break kind of book

    6. There are some big name authors here and a few I haven t had the pleasure of reading before Some very short stories but they all pack a punch Great variety and some fantastic ideas I enjoyed all of them for different reasons and would find it hard to pick a favourite from them which is possibly unfair anyway because they are all individual subjects but if I had to I think the one that resonated most was The Perfect Murder it just goes to show how easy it would be to plot a crime A great selectio [...]

I bought this book for 2 reasons 1 its a very cheap book I like cheap almost as much as I like books 2 it is packed with short stories by authors I absolutely love and some I have just discovered I have read other compilations of short stories but this is by far the best one I have encountered so far Each one is well written and some I even wished were longer I read the entire book in an afternoon Its hard to write a review on short stories as you really could give the plots away but if you love [...]

    11. This book contains a collection of short crime stories. The stories all reminded me of the Tale of the Unexpected series each had a good twist even though I guessed some of the endings , but none of the writing really grabbed me.
